Tiger Lillies! (:

Tonight was the last night of my cake class :( We made tiger lillies :) It was my first time making them and it was pretty hard...this is my first one ever made :)...i know its not the best but it was my first time making them and I think I did pretty good for my first time :)   P.S The corner on one of my petals broke because I was taking it home from my class but my container wasn't big enough to hold it so I couldn't put the lid on it...well i was getting in the car when the wind blew and it blew it right out of the container and when it hit the floor it broke the tips of two of my little petals :(..I will admit I teared up alittle :(

Flowers!

Recently I've been taking a new cake class! This one is Advanced Gumpast and Fondant Flowers. This Wensday is my last week of class. The class is 4 weeks long. This Wensday I'm making a bundle of all the flowers I've made in my class. (Don't worry there will be pictures!) These are the flowers I've made so far in my class (:....Thanks to mamaw for signing me up and helping me the whole way through it! :)

My First Big Project Is On Its Way! (:

My first big project is on its way! I wrote out a list of everythng I would need for my teacher and she went to Walmart after work and bought evrything I would need! Now I have 5 cartoons of eggs,3 packs of 4 sticks of butter,5 bags of powder sugar,3 bags of pretzel rods,2 cans of crisco shortning,2 bottles of vegteble oil, 2 bags of sugar,10 cake mixes, 2 blocks of white bakers chocolate, 2 blocks of bakers bitter sweet chocolate, 1 bag of flour, and 96 baking cups! (: I'm gonna be a busy girl! (:

2012 Spring Fling!

This year my school is hosting a semi-formal dance for the first time! The dance is March 15th and the theme is Paris Under The Stars. They are having a formal student do the photos and they wanted food sooooo....they asked me to provide the food! My teacher (the one in charge of the dance) said I could bring whatever I want and the school would pay for all the ingredients I need to make the treats,they are also going to provide me with my own table to put the treats on. The table will be scattered with my own business cards! My teacher said this will be a great way for the parents to start talking about me....I'm making a 3 teired cake,cupcakes,cookies,and chocolate covered pretzels! A parent will watch my table and sell the things I make,all the money earned from the goodies will go back to me! It's been very stressful so fair,it's all I think about and I think I've changed the design of my cake at least 25 times now but I think I finally have the perfect design! I have to make around 75 to 100 cupcakes,75 to 100 cookies,and aroung 50 pretzels. It's gonna be alot of work but I'm ready for the challenge!

Bake Sale!

Keirstyn's volleyball team had a bake sale to raise money for their pizza party at the end of the season. Keirstyn asked me to make cupcakes and this is what I made her :) the stars are purple and gold because those are her team colors!
